About Me...

Hello Everyone,

Thanks for reading my blog. It's always difficult to talk about myself or "about me" because the people who are in my inner circle know me best and are privy to certain areas of my life. I am a fun-loving, quirky wife, a daughter, sister, a friend, a Pastor's wife and soon to be MOM! Wow! I said it! MOM!!!! (And that's the reason for this blog).

I am a great cook. I love a good laugh. I am a very creative soul.  I love God and am amazed at His work. I love seeing people's dreams become their reality.

After 2 1/2 years of having difficulties expanding our family resulting in many tests, diagnoses, tears, 3 failed fertility treatments, and crying out to and questioning God on His Will for our lives, He bestowed an amazing blessing upon us NATURALLY. We are so excited to have the opportunity to welcome into the world and be parents to an amazing Baby July 2016.

Throughout our fertility journey I told my husband that I wanted to be a voice and to tell my story when God blesses us with a child. So I have to make good on my promises.

Many people will probably read this blog and say that I am releasing too much information about our fertility journey, some will say I am not releasing enough information and some will say, "THANK YOU because you are telling my story!" I believe that through your testimony you have the ability to help others as well as for me to tell how God not only healed my mind but healed my body to carry such a precious treasure.

In this blog I will be sharing my testimony, videos, stories, resources, and people who blessed me along the way. It has taken a village of prayer warriors to get me to a place called Here.  Thanks for being Here with me!

  2. Mattie P. Sanders When we look around us, we immediately see that there is a Being larger than ourselves and anything else known to man. A baby is a miracle. I wish you and your husband much success as you rear your precious gift and you have not experienced nothing yet until your look in that face for the first time. Can't describe it, can't explain it. Remember, He may not come when you want Him to, but He's right on time.

  7. Thank you so much for sharing your story. I am walking through my own journey to bring a baby home after a recent full-term stillborn. If God did it for you, he can do it for me, too. God bless!!
